Having worked in the game industry as well as in the film industry for more than 7 years, my ability to understand the challenges that it rises has been significantly developed.
During my employment as Environment Artist at AMC Studio, Romania, I have been actively involved in working with other departments, such as modeling and texturing for the Vehicles Department, with the goal of executing the assets within the deadline and at the highest quality level. I learned fast, and within three months since I started to work at the company I was asked to extend my work range from texture to modeling and mapping.
The projects I was commissioned to do ranged from fantasy to hyper-realistic, so I had to use my art knowledge to produce believable works under strict technical specifications. Those constraints proved to be useful on the long run for my development as an environment artist , so that I was able to teach other people fast how to deal with the deadline and the quality demands.
